Refund policy
1. Overview
At Zippyseve by DK ("we," "us," or "our"), your satisfaction matters to us. This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which you may return a product, request an exchange, or claim a refund. By placing an order on zippysevebydk.com, you agree to the terms set out below.
This policy is framed in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
2. Return Eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days of delivery, provided the item meets all of the following conditions:
- The product is unused, unworn, and undamaged.
- It is in its original condition with all tags, labels, and protective packaging intact.
- You can provide valid proof of purchase (order number, invoice, or order confirmation email).
- The item is not listed under "Non-Returnable Items" in Section 4 below.
We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product shows signs of use, alteration, or damage not caused by us or the courier.
3. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or different from what you ordered, please notify us within 48 hoursof delivery at zippysevebydk@gmail.com. To help us process your claim quickly, kindly include:
- Your order number,
- A clear description of the issue, and
- Photographs or a short video showing the defect or damage.
In these cases, we will arrange a free replacement or a full refund, including any return shipping costs, at no additional charge to you.
4. Non-Returnable Items
For reasons of hygiene, safety, and the made-to-order nature of certain products, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect:
- Custom or personalized items (including print-on-demand apparel and products made to your specifications), as these are produced uniquely for you and cannot be resold.
- Jewelry classified as intimate or pierced wear (such as earrings and nose pins), for hygiene reasons.
- Items marked as "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "Non-Returnable" on the product page at the time of purchase.
- Gift cards and promotional vouchers.
- Products returned without original packaging, tags, or proof of purchase.
5. How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please follow these steps:
- Email us at zippysevebydk@gmail.com or message us on WhatsApp at +91 87143 54010 within the eligible return window.
- Include your order number and the reason for the return.
- Once your request is reviewed and approved, we will share return instructions and the return shipping address.
Please do not ship any item back before receiving our confirmation, as unauthorized returns may not be accepted or refunded.
6. Return Shipping Costs
- For damaged, defective, or incorrect items, we cover all return shipping costs.
- For change-of-mind or other eligible returns, return shipping is borne by the customer unless stated otherwise during a promotion.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit during the return.
7. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- Approved refunds will be processed to your original method of payment within 7–10 business days.
- The exact time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your bank or payment provider.
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) orders, refunds will be issued via bank transfer or UPI, for which we may request your account details.
If your order qualified for free shipping but the return makes the order ineligible for it, the original outbound shipping cost may be deducted from your refund.
8. Partial Refunds
A partial refund may be granted at our discretion if a returned item is not in its original condition, is missing parts, or is damaged for reasons not due to our error.
9. Exchanges
If you would like a different size, color, or variant, please request an exchange within the return window. Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the desired item is unavailable, we will offer a refund or store credit instead.
10. Order Cancellations
You may cancel your order before it has been shipped by contacting us at zippysevebydk@gmail.com. Once an order has been dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled and must instead follow the standard return process. Custom and print-on-demand orders cannot be cancelled once production has begun.
11. Late or Missing Refunds
If you have not received an approved refund within the stated timeframe, please first check with your bank or payment provider, as processing delays can occur on their end. If the issue persists, contact us at zippysevebydk@gmail.com and we will follow up promptly.
